For those of you who joined us at SHIFT last week, we hope you have decided to take us up on the challenge of fasting today so we can use that money to buy groceries for those in need. If so, please bring the money you would've spent on food (or Starbucks :) to service and we will go out to buy those groceries as a ministry. Then, we will come back to the Fireside Room to collect the donations and to break the fast with a delicious spaghetti dinner! Let's come together as a community to seek God in a time of fasting so we can draw closer to Him and so we can bless those who are less fortunate around us.

Hey CR Family! This Monday, May 27th we will have a testimony by Erwin E. from CCV's Celebrate Recovery. Erwin has been in recovery for years and he and his family has gone through trying times with loss and many things that can have some of us question God. Come hear how God moved in Erwin's life through this process the of recovery to gain relief, healing, and freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It is Memorial Day so CCV is closed. There will be no Dinner or Childcare. Large Group will start at 6:30 and Open Share Groups at 7:30. After the groups, join us for fellowship in the Fireside Room at 8:30 with coffee and desserts. The Landing will be touching the lives of kids so bring your teens. Hope to see you there!

Our hearts go out to the victims of the Moore, Oklahoma tornado tragedy. We here at CCV YEL Families would like to help out! We are collecting gifts cards to Wal-Mart and Home Depot, and cash donations as well. Please bring them either this weekend or next into the Elementary Check in area during any service or during the week to the CCV office Tues - Thurs 9am - 5pm or Fri 9am to 3pm. We will be sending all donations to Community Christian Church in Moore, OK and they will distribute to those in need.

Hello CR Family, come join us on Monday, May 20th, as we worship, fellowship, and further our gift of recovery. The lesson on "Moral" will be given by our own Rene A. Rene has been with CR from its inception at CCV and has worked with teens in The Landing for the past few years. Come hear Rene's insight on this step and how we can all apply it to our lives through the process of recovery. We will have dinner at 5:30 and childcare, Celebration Station, and The Landing will be available for kids and teens starting at 6:15. Large group starts at 6:30, small groups at 7:30 then join us for fellowship after in the Fireside Room at 8:30. Hope to see all of you there so bring the whole family!!!
